International rugby players have certainly taken Kinesio taping to their hearts - as well as their hamstrings - during Rugby World Cup 2015!

It's only two weeks into the tournament and nearly every day we've seen the blue, pink and black flashes of Kinesio Tape relieving pain, aiding recovery and supporting player's injuries.
But have you ever wondered how and why Kinesio Tape works? And why the professional players are covered in it whether it is before, during or after matches?
Well now there's a chance to find out for yourself!
The team at North-East based Kinesio UK is very happy to see international rugby stars sporting its products and very excited to see international rugby matches played in Newcastle.
So if you make your way to the Rugby World Cup Fanzone at Science Central, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 5SQ from 11am - 1230pm on Friday 2 October, you will find qualified Kinesio UK therapists who will be offering demonstrations, explanations, samples and even professional applications if you're lucky!
Each Rugby World Cup venue around the country has a Fanzone which includes a big screen showing live Rugby World Cup 2015 matches, rugby activities, food, drink and entertainment.
The Newcastle Fanzone also has a Community Rugby Pitch where a host of Falcons and Southern Hemisphere Legends will enjoy an open training session at 11am that morning ahead of a charity Legends Match at Kingston Park, Newcastle in the evening. Players include Anthony Elliott, Terry Fanolua, Cory Harris, Jamie Noon, Andre Snyman and Matt Burke.
At 4pm the Kinesio UK team will also be decamping to the charity Legends Match at Kingston Park Stadium, Brunton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE13 8AF, where they will set up their stall and offer Kinesio demos until 9.30pm.
So if you miss the daytime opportunity, you can still find out how Kinesio works in the evening! For more information about Kinesio taping, go to www.kinesiotaping.co.uk
