Kinesio Pre-cut Back Application is designed to support over stretched back muscles and lower back issues. Whether it's due to sciatica, lumbago or recovery from a muscle strain, the tape should help to provide muscle support and may help to alleviate associated discomfort.

Five out of ten working adults suffer back pain ever year, and nearly everyone will experience back pain at some point in their life. It is the second most common cause of absence from work, after the common cold. The majority of cases are associated with pain and stiffness in the lower part of the back.
The tape can be worn for 2-3 days, 24 hours a day. It is hypoallergenic, made from 100% cotton and latex free. It is also water-resistant, so you can shower, bathe and swim whilst wearing it. You can also continue with your activities or training, as Kinesio Pre-cut allows for full range of motion, supporting the muscle yet not restricting movement.
Each foil packet contains an instruction sheet and enough tape for the application. All strips are pre-cut with smooth edges and rounded ends. To simplify application, the backing is perforated and has cutting guides for making size adjustments.
Follow our step by step guide for applying back pre-cut below and watch the video on our Facebook page:
1. Assistance is recommended for the application. Make sure the skin is dry and clean and, after applying. rub the tape to activate the adhesive. It's normal for wrinkles to appear in the tape when the muscles are relaxed.
2. Take one tape strip. If necessary, use the cutting guide to cut to the right length. Using the tear line, remove the backing paper from one end.Place the base of the strip over the lowest part of the back on one side of the spine. Bend forward to stretch the muscles.
3. Remove the rest of the tape backing. Without stretching the tape, extend the strip up and along the spine. Rub to activate.

4. Repeat the previous step with another strip, along the other side of the spine.Take the third strip and cut to the right length if necessary. Tear the backing paper in the centre and begin to remove the backing in both directions to expose the middle portion of the tape. Holding both ends, apply slight stretch and apply horizontally over the most painful area.
Minor strains usually respond to rest and over-the-counter medication too. If pain and swelling lasts longer than a few days, or become worse, we recommend seeking the advice of a trained Kinesio Practitioner or your GP.
