Kinesio will take centre stage at this year's Therapy Expo as we hold our first conference in partnership with Therapy Expo, offering unprecedented insight into the latest taping techniques, innovations and the future of Kinesio Taping.

Promising to be the taping event highlight of the year, the inaugural Kinesio conference will present a fantastic programme with specialist speakers, research and case report reviews, demonstrations and hands-on workshops.

As part of the conference the KTAI Research Committee is organising a Young Researchers' Platform and Kinesio UK are now inviting abstracts for from young researchers (undergraduate or postgraduate) who will be featured across the conference programme. Kinesio is encouraging submission from students who have completed, or are in the process of completing, a study or research across all themes to make an oral or poster presentation. Lecturers are also invited to put forward suitable candidates. Lecturers looking to promote this opportunity to their students can contact the office for further information and to receive our submissions pack.

Those submitting successful abstracts will be able to:

• Attend Therapy Expo for FREE The cost for a student to attend the Expo is usually £82.80. As a presenter, Kinesio UK will provide free access to both days.

• Have their work presented at a major exhibition Therapy Expo is one of the UK's largest therapy and training events with over 2,500 delegates attending over two days.

• Talk to Kinesio Taping Experts The Kinesio Conference will bring together some of the best Kinesio experts from around the UK and further afield.

• Attend keynote lectures Keynote lectures at Therapy Expo are delivered by experts in their field and provide hours of learning opportunities.

• Attend other Kinesio sessions Other sessions might include workshops, seminars, questions and answer sessions. These are all different formats for sharing ideas and listening to people who have some experience and expertise in a certain field.

• Access the Exhibitor Area Meet exhibitors and learn about the latest therapy products.

• Promote their achievement - Young Kinesio Researcher Award & Poster Prize All oral presentations will be put forward for the research award and there will be a prize for the best poster. All presenters will be awarded with a certificate from Kinesio UK recognising their achievement.

• Have their work featured in future Kinesio publications Successful applicants may also have the opportunity to have their work featured in a variety of Kinesio publications.

The deadline for submissions is September 16th 2016 and successful applicants must be able to attend both days of Therapy Expo 2016 at thence in Birmingham on November 23rd and 24th.
